Music as an option in Creative Arts 2018

Since 2013 our grade 8 and 9 pupils' have been able to choose Music as a subject in Creative Arts.  This exciting program of instrument tuition, music theory and facets of Creative Arts has paid huge dividends in our senior music classes which have grown to a record high with students taking a great variety of instruments.

Having started 2013 with 42 enthusiastic pupils' enrolled in this option, we are thrilled with the successes our new young musicians have achieved.  The Music Department has experienced a period of growth and development of our Orchestra, ensembles and our hugely popular musicals at the Baxter as a result of this program.
