Winter Sports

Cross-Country/Road running

Cross country is tough going as most of our runners are intimidated by the courses at the league races but with a little effort can overcome this obstacle and Cross Crountry is then really enjoyable. The road runners make up the majority of the group and run throughout the year. Runners participate in the club cross-country league races on Saturdays.

Running is a lifestyle sport which can be enjoyed for many years after school. Pupils are encouraged to develop a love for running.

Facilities:  We have a wonderful suburb that we run around regularly and the availability of the Natural Heritage Site provides off-road experience.

Our coaches, who all boast at least WP experience, offer supportive as well as excellent coaching lead by Head coach, Chris Gibson.
